The Learning Nest offers children the opportunity to attend classes two or four times per week. With a low student to teacher ratio of 6:1, a valuable one-on-one learning environment is provided for each little learner, while still getting the group classroom experience. Children are not required to be potty trained.

Half Day Preschool Program

Children 2-4 years old

These morning classes are great for children just starting to spend time away from parents or other caregivers. Children learn to be independent and make new friends. We spend time daily singing and dancing during our circle time. We also have art and free play in our classroom, as well as outdoors.
Children are introduced to skills such as scissors and art tools. Each child is looked at on an individual level.

Half Day Pre-K Program

Children 3-5 years old

Our Pre-K program is a home alternative to Ontario's Junior Kindergarten program. This class is meant for older 3 yr olds who may be ready to enter school but parents would like to keep home, as well as 4-5 year olds that are homeschooled or not attending a school program for JK/SK.

In this class we will learn more about letters and sounds and focus more time on reading skills. Children are always evaluated at their level. With a 6:1 ratio, it is much easier to focus one on one with children to allow them to thrive in their own time.

This class will only run if it is full. Please inquire if you are interested and I will put you on our list.
