About Us
At The Learning Nest Preschool, children learn through play, exploration and hands-on experiences in a small, welcoming home-based setting. Our days are filled with outdoor play, messy art, sensory experiences, stories, music and plenty of opportunities to create, explore and make friends.
With a small group, children have the space to build confidence and independence at their own pace — while still having plenty of time to simply be little.
Learning Through Play
The Learning Nest is a play based learning environment which uses traditional centers and themes to introduce teacher lead and student lead hands on activities. Children are encouraged to harness their creativity in all aspects and we love seeing what they create! Classes are for children 2-4 years old. Children can attend classes two or four days per per week.

The Learning Nest Preschool is licensed with a childcare agency through the government of Ontario to provide CWELCC funding to all families. Subsidy is also available to eligible families.

At The Learning Nest, my mission is to provide every child with a positive learning experience. I hope to encourage a love of learning that will follow children throughout their lifetime. My unique preschool offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth, all while being in a home environment. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
